On Grid Solar System

A grid-tied solar power system is composed of solar panels and an inverter.  Solar panels produces DC electricity that is inverted to AC and used by the load. In the case where there is excess production, this excess energy is fed into the grid, offsetting the residence’s electrical usage, and causing the electricity meter to spin backwards; this is known as net metering or feed- on tariff. Then a family’s electricity bill can be drastically reduced, or even eliminated in some cases.
